You will have a great time creating a brand new story using some of your favorite songs from some of your favorite Disney movies!

Maddy La Roche will guide you on developing the story, setting, characters, dialogue, and staging. Our teaching assistants will help you learn fun choreography & gain an understanding of theatre movement.  Perform your creation for family and friends on the final day of class!

LEARNING EXPERIENCE:
  • Learning theatre vocabulary, story structure, and concepts
  • Discovering how to develop a character using vocal expression and physical movement
  • Self expression and group collaboration combine to create a unique original story
  • Having fun dancing and singing with friends

Ready Set Create will be on-site at the Hanifl Performing Arts Center!

We are excited to announce that this camp will still be in person with safety protocols in place.

Things CPA is doing to ensure safety:
  • All door handles will be sanitized prior to arrival
  • Program will be limited to 8 students
  • Safety drop-off – CPA staff will come out to your car to greet and take the temperature of your student and verify students have been symptom free
  • Students will sanitize/wash hands upon arrival
  • Programming will be outside when weather permitting (not too hot or raining.)
  • When inside, we will be in our large classrooms which allows for social distancing
  • Each student is to bring their own labeled water bottle. All personal items will be socially distanced as well
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is encouraging all Americans — even people who feel healthy — to wear cloth face masks or homemade face coverings in public when 6-feet social distancing is difficult to maintain in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19. CPA will do our best to provide more than enough space to allow for social distancing. Masks are encouraged for situations when students cannot maintain 6 ft of distance. Students must provide their own mask/face covering.
  • To keep safety and social distancing a priority,  the final performance will be outdoors at Polar Lakes Park Saturday July 11th in the evening (approx. 7:00 pm)

All sales are final.   No refunds or credits will be granted for non-attendance.
