Improv FUN

Grades: 5th-8th
Location: Hanifl Performing Arts Center
4941 Long Ave
White Bear Lake, MN 55110
Dates: Thursday, August 20| 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Cost:  $30.00
Director: Brian Cern

Students will learn the basics of improv, space work, and listening that serves as the basis for all theatre. Games will be played that emphasize focus and staying in the moment.  Listening and teamwork will be stressed, building tools that serve not just in the stage, but in life as well.

Things CPA is doing to ensure safety:
  • All door handles will be sanitized prior to arrival
  • Program will be limited to 8 students
  • Safety drop-off – CPA staff will come out to your car to greet and take the temperature of your student and verify students have been symptom free
  • Students will sanitize/wash hands upon arrival
  • Programming will be outside when weather permitting (not too hot or raining.)
  • When inside, we will be in our large classrooms which allows for social distancing
  • Each student is to bring their own labeled water bottle. All personal items will be socially distanced as well
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is encouraging all Americans — even people who feel healthy — to wear cloth face masks or homemade face coverings in public when 6-feet social distancing is difficult to maintain in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19. CPA will do our best to provide more than enough space to allow for social distancing. Masks are encouraged for situations when students cannot maintain 6 ft of distance. Students must provide their own mask/face covering.
All sales are final.   No refunds or credits will be granted for non-attendance.
